Stop Changing Assessments

Enough is enough! Michigan students need stability, not more test changes.

A few years ago, Michigan replaced the outdated MEAP test with a new generation test. The new test measures critical thinking and problem solving, provides clear information to parents and teachers on where students struggle and excel, and gives the ability to compare how well schools are serving their students from city to city and state to state.

Now, the State Superintendent and Michigan Department of Education want us to get back on the testing merry-go-round and make major changes to the M-STEP.

Raise your voice and tell the State Superintendent and Governor that enough is enough. Michigan students need stability, not another new test.
